Sidebar Gadgets is one of the components I love in Windows Vista.

Using Notes gadgets, I type down what I want to do , what in my mind when facing the monitors …

Using Calendar gadgets, it just like a real calendar in your work desk, where I can refer to my future plans.

Using Shift Schedule gadgets , I can check on my working shift schedule.

Using the puttypal gadgets ,  I can link with Putty application in my terminal and have a shortcut to shell access to the UNIX servers easily , great !

Using the sidebar clock gadgets, I can view a nice designed time and clock. I have using the clock as my backup alarm as well.
