My first topic of English class , provided by HT is all about Simple Present Tense.

The form or structure of a Simple Present Tense is as below:

Subject + is/am/are + Adjective/Nouns/Prepositions

Subject + Verb

The characteristics of Simple Present Tense are

1. Statement

example : Life is cruel.

2 Regular Action

example : He walks to office every day.

3. Advertisement

example : englishmoo.com is a good website to study English.

4. Story Telling

example : The King is smart.

5. General Truth

example : Ang Mo means “English” in Hokkien dialect.
